Amez Line – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Amez Line, a multi-vendor marketplace where buyers and sellers come together in a seamless shopping experience. By accessing our platform, creating an account, buying, or selling products, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Definitions

1.1 "Amez Line" refers to the multi-vendor marketplace platform operated by Amez Line (Pvt) Ltd in Sri Lanka.

1.2 "Buyer" refers to any user who purchases goods or services through the platform.

1.3 "Seller" refers to any individual, business, or entity that lists, markets, and sells products on the platform.

1.4 "Services" mean the online marketplace features, payment systems, logistics support, and other tools provided by Amez Line to facilitate buying and selling.

1.5 "Website" refers to https://amezline.com or any other official domain or mobile application operated by Amez Line.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Restriction: Users must be at least 18 years old to register as a Buyer or Seller. If under 18, parental or guardian consent is required.

2.2 Legal Capacity: By using Amez Line, you affirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable laws.

2.3 Seller Requirements: Sellers must provide accurate business registration details (if applicable), proof of ownership for products, and comply with all local regulations.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Buyers and Sellers must register an account to use Amez Line’s services.

3.2 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and all activity under their account.

3.3 False, incomplete, or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4. Seller Obligations

4.1 Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions, images, prices, and availability.

4.2 Sellers are solely responsible for fulfilling orders, including shipping and delivery within agreed timelines.

4.3 Sellers agree not to list prohibited, counterfeit, illegal, or unsafe products. Amez Line reserves the right to remove such listings without notice.

4.4 Sellers must honor warranties, return policies, and comply with applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

5.1 Buyers agree to provide accurate payment and delivery information.

5.2 Buyers must review product details before purchasing. Amez Line is not responsible for buyer negligence or misinterpretation.

5.3 Buyers agree to pay for purchases using authorized payment methods only.

5.4 Fraudulent activities such as chargebacks, false claims, or misuse of services will result in account suspension and possible legal action.

6. Payments and Fees

6.1 Payments are processed through Amez Line’s secure payment gateway. Sellers will receive disbursements after deducting applicable fees.

6.2 Amez Line may charge commission, transaction fees, or subscription fees as outlined in the Seller Agreement.

6.3 Buyers are responsible for taxes, customs duties, or other charges applicable to their purchases.

7. Order Fulfillment and Delivery

7.1 Sellers must ensure timely shipping and provide valid tracking information.

7.2 Delivery times may vary based on location and logistics providers. Amez Line is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.

7.3 Buyers must inspect goods upon delivery and raise disputes within the platform’s dispute resolution timeframe.

8. Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

8.1 Amez Line provides a structured dispute resolution system for Buyers and Sellers.

8.2 Refunds and returns are subject to Seller’s policy, provided they comply with consumer protection laws.

8.3 Buyers must provide evidence of product defects or misrepresentation when requesting refunds.

8.4 Amez Line may mediate disputes but final liability rests with the Buyer and Seller.

9. Prohibited Conduct

9.1 Users may not engage in fraudulent transactions, money laundering, or any unlawful activity.

9.2 Users may not upload harmful code, spam, or misuse the platform in ways that disrupt services.

9.3 Sellers may not attempt to bypass Amez Line’s payment system or conduct direct off-platform transactions with Buyers.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Amez Line acts as a platform provider and is not a party to contracts between Buyers and Sellers.

10.2 Amez Line is not liable for product quality, delivery delays, damages, or disputes between Buyers and Sellers.

10.3 Amez Line will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 Amez Line collects, processes, and stores personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

11.2 Buyers and Sellers must not misuse or share each other’s data outside the scope of transactions.

11.3 Unauthorized use of personal data may lead to suspension and legal consequences.

12. Termination

12.1 Amez Line reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

12.2 Users may deactivate their accounts by written request, but outstanding transactions and obligations must be fulfilled.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.

13.2 Any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts, unless otherwise mandated by applicable consumer law.

14. Amendments

14.1 Amez Line may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on the Website with the updated effective date.

14.2 Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
